INCLUSION & DIVERSITY: Introduction
Lisa FRANCIS-JENNINGS provides perspectives on the value of a diverse workplace while participants of this course develop an understanding of the elements associated with diversity and inclusion that allow us to navigate career opportunities, build stronger leadership within the organization and develop innovative teams. Understanding the value of inclusion & diversity intimately will allow each person to leverage workplace opportunities that only come with different perspectives.
Luxembourg is a multicultural mixing pot. It is almost impossible to find any workplace that is not made up of a variety of cultures, ages, genders, religions, and languages. Luxembourg’s policies embrace inclusion and diversity, supporting a rich work & social life for all its people / population. Because of this, individuals are more likely to face the opportunities that come with a diverse workforce, and the challenge of dealing with people who are different from them. This course is designed for people who wish to learn about diversity and inclusion and the unconscious biases that we all possess, that create barriers to a truly successful team.

• Barriers to diversity and inclusion
• How to bridge diversity barriers
• Proactively working to reduce personal and organisational unconscious bias
